Motherhood
Motherhood is...a mission, an eternal engagement, a forever arrangement & the furthest thing from estrangement.
It's familiarity with the smiles and giggles, the snot, the poop, it's constant continuous on the go, snuggles, smiles, cuddles, milk; nap time, play time, bath time, changing time, another nap, more play, an adventure here and there- & sandwiched in between- cooking, cleaning, scripture reading, brushing teeth and working out, getting dressed, and service too- time with friends, time with spouse, more time with baby, always time with baby. <3
7pm rolls around, Mom's exhausted but wants to relax- a movie? Maybe. A treat? Probably. Bed? Always.
And this...is what I do all day. :)
But it doesn't stop here.
2 hours into bedtime baby is up, mommy is up, daddy is up. Cuddles in bed then back to sleep. A few hours later we hear another peep. Then early in the morning baby's ready for play, and Mom's needing a nap before jumping into the next day. :)
